Free Masonic Digital Library
A collection built for discovery.
Historical research, educational reading, and a growing record of Masonic literature.
Reading and downloading
No registration, subscription, or payment is required. Open a catalog record to see its reviewed formats. PDF files can be viewed in your browser or saved. EPUB files open in compatible reading apps. The accessible text reader is available where a cleared text edition has been prepared.
What the access labels mean
Free reading / downloads: the displayed files have passed edition, rights, and suitability review. Catalog only: the bibliographic record is visible, but no source file is released. Materials unsuitable for this public collection are withheld from the public catalog.
Some records are transcribed from an archive filename and explicitly marked unverified. A filename’s year is not proof of the original publication date or the rights in that particular scan. Duplicate and divided-file groupings remain provisional until file-level comparison is complete.
A local shelf system
Freemasonry is commonly associated with Dewey class 366.1. Our detailed identifiers are a separate, local Scott County system: SC670-HIS-001 means Scott County Lodge, History, item 001. These codes are not official Dewey Decimal subclasses. Numbers identify catalog records; they do not imply a reading order or rank.

Historical context
These works may contain dated language, interpretations, or claims. Their inclusion documents historical writing and does not endorse every assertion. Research about other Masonic bodies does not describe programs of Scott County Lodge No. 670. Contemporary practice should be confirmed with the appropriate recognized body.
Careful publication
The private source archive is preserved. Buying a collection does not establish redistribution rights for every included edition. Each released file needs recorded evidence and a suitability check. Original private Drive links and restricted files are not exposed through this site. Where useful, an independently cleared edition is supplied instead of a purchased scan.
Rights statements refer to the United States. Readers elsewhere should check their local law. See the individual edition’s license and source notes.
